The concept reflected by this picture is the idea of a stage – The roof structure imply an enclosed space in an area that is completely open. This shields people from the elements while not obstructing the view a higher elevation grants. The concept reflected is integration – The station integrates the three main passageways across the street; The cars on the original road below, The light rail on a higher platform that extends above the road, and the walkway which links the two sides of the road together with the light rail stop.
